Step two: Find a great source: almost 800 pages of detailed duty rates. Fantastic!
Step three: Try to copy data to a usable format (with few exceptions, everything on bahamas.gov.bs is in pdf).
Step four: Get an error. What?!


For some inexplicable reason, the Customs Department decided that they would prefer if you could do as little as possible with the wealth of information they provided, so they disabled printing and copying of each document that they made available. While there appear to be ways around this, it is just one more road block to accessing and using public data in the Bahamas.
